different types of advertising

  The best way to advertise is to know what consumer your trying to reach to view your ads. Who you want to target the definition of this is called your “target audience.” Demographic information such as age, gender, education, and income level helps define a targeted audience. Knowing this about your consumer helps you decide where to place your ads in the right area. 
  There are many ways of advertising here are a few examples:
Broadcast- this includes T.V, radio, internet messages, and commercials.
Product Placement- is a less obvious way to advertise. The first product placement noticed was int he famous movie made in 1982 E.T. charters in this movie were eating reese’s pieces. After this sales increased substantially. Ever since than the type of advertising  grew.
Internet promotions- this is when a pop up ad (flash ad) pops up onto your computer screen and often moves around, and is hard to close. Very Annoying. 
Pay per click advertising- paying to have the web pages placed high on the search engine.
Out door advertising- Billboards, and signage. you can advertises with large signs on side of a bus or on a score board and stadiums.
Celebrity advertising- This is the usage of t.v. ads or print with the use of a celebrity and the ad relates back to all advertising.
Classified Advertising- is for the sale of goods, services, jobs between individuals, usually in smaller locationsIt is a $50 bn global market. 
Location advertising-is advertising by communities, states, cities, or destinations.
Institutional of corporate advertising, also know as image advertise with promotes an organization’s brand, image, people, capabilities, employment opportunities, ideas, or political issues, or anything that the advertiser wants to publicize.
  Out of all of these advertisements my favorite is broadcast because you can use technology to make the ads. There is reality no limit  on your creation. I fell this way to advertise reaches the majority of people.
  There is many different types of advertising and it all serves a different purposes to reach the target audience. The more information you know about the product and your target audience the better you will do on selling your ad.
